A native of Yazoo City, MS, Bishop Thomas acquired his elementary education in the Yazoo City Public School System before graduating from Piney Woods Country Life School. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps before pursuing his academic and religious education at Hinds Community College, Liberty University, and New Burgh Theological Seminary.
In 2000, Bishop Thomas accepted and announced the call of God into ministry. He was licensed to preach and ordained on May 2, 2010. Currently, he serves as Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Yazoo City, MS, faithfully fulfilling his role as servant, shepherd, spiritual leader, and teacher.
Bishop Thomas is married and the proud father of two sons he affectionately calls his "Miracle Babies." His willingness to serve has never been based on status, but on a sincere desire to serve the Lord wholeheartedly.

For many years, Bishop Thomas carried a burden to see pastors and Christians in the Kingdom of God enjoy their salvation as they rightly divide the word of truth without being in bondage by the traditions of men.
In January 2016, Christ's Kingdom Advancing Ministries Outreach Ministry was birthed from this vision. Bishop Thomas loves God and loves seeing people live a life that impacts others.
Christ's Kingdom Advancing Ministries is an Evangelism/Prison Ministry that strongly believes that everyone is a candidate for God's Kingdom.

After much prayer, Bishop Thomas accepted the call of God into the bishopry and announced his elevation by God into this office.

Bishop Thomas was given the opportunity to take the seat as Pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Yazoo City, MS, where he continues to serve faithfully.
